E-way bill has already been implemented in many states and now this system has been implemented in the entire country from June 2018.

There is a lot of question in the minds of the people for this new system, how will it work in the GST system, what will it benefit to the traders and government agencies, what kind of use it will prove to be.

What is the e-way bill?

Before creating an e-way bill, we should know about the meaning of the e-way bill.

The E-way bill is a fully electronic way bill. E Way bill is a kind of electronic bill, which is done by supplying or receiving Rs. 50,000 or more.

In which the complete information about sending or receiving goods is a bill made on the computer. After the implementation of the e-way bill, it will become easier to transport and transport goods to other states.

An e-way bill will be valid across the country. In the old tax system, a bill was created on paper for the supply of goods, known as road permits, and the same bill that was created on paper is now being made on a computer and called e-way bill.

If the supplier has generated an E-way bill and the goods could not be sent for any reason, then this E-Way bill can be canceled within 24 hours.

E-way Bill is also not required to send goods that do not have GST.

The goods being sent should be related to any work such as branch transfer, repair, etc. and if the value of that goods is more than 50 thousand, then it is necessary to generate an E-way bill.

In which case E-way Bill is important?

It is necessary for the supply of goods for Registered and Unregistered Dealers (businessmen) under GST.

An E-way bill is also necessary for a transporter who supplies goods.

E-way Bill is necessary to supply goods worth more than Rs 50,000 from one state to another.

How to get an E-way bill?

Android App has also launched for E-way Bill. With the help of this app, a GeM registered person or others can use E-way Bill.

Merchants (Businessmen) who do not have Internet available can generate an E-way bill from SMS Service, for this, they have to register their mobile number.

Those who are not registered in Transporter GST will also have the facility to generate E Way Bill with the help of Pan Card or Aadhaar Number.
